These terms cover your use of menlocatering.com. Catering itself is arranged through a separate written agreement for your event — nothing on this website is a binding contract to cater anything.

Agreement to these terms

This website is operated by Menlo Catering Events LLC ("Menlo Catering", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Quotes, menus, and pricing are not offers

Menus, prices, package descriptions, and guest-count ranges on this website are provided for information and are illustrative. They may change, and they may not reflect current availability, seasonal ingredient costs, or the specific requirements of your event.

Submitting a form on this site is a request for a quote. It does not reserve a date and does not create a contract. A booking exists only once we have issued a written proposal or event agreement, you have accepted it, and any required deposit has been received.

Your event agreement controls

Catering services are governed by the written event agreement or proposal signed for your specific event. That document sets out the final menu, pricing, service charges, taxes, staffing, deposit, payment schedule, final guest count deadline, and cancellation and rescheduling terms. If anything in these website terms conflicts with your signed event agreement, the event agreement controls.

Food allergies and dietary requirements

Please tell us in writing about any allergy or dietary requirement before your event, and no later than the final guest count deadline in your event agreement. We take allergies seriously and will do our best to accommodate them.

However, our food is prepared in kitchens and on equipment that handle common allergens, including nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, and fish. We cannot guarantee that any dish is entirely free of a given allergen, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Guests with severe allergies should take this into account. We are not responsible for allergic reactions arising from requirements that were not disclosed to us in writing.

Using this website

You may browse this site and use it to contact us about catering. You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to send spam or false enquiries
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems
• Copy, scrape, or republish our content for commercial purposes without permission
• Interfere with the operation of the site or the experience of other visitors

Our content

The text, menus, photographs, logos, and design on this site belong to Menlo Catering Events LLC or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to our pages freely. You may not reproduce our menus, photography, or written content elsewhere without our written permission.

If you believe content on this site infringes your rights, email nico@menlocatering.com and we will look into it promptly.

Accuracy and availability

We try to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or that it will always be available. We may change menus, pricing, service areas, or any other content at any time without notice. We may suspend or withdraw the site for maintenance.

Where we link to other websites, including social media, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices.

This does not limit any warranty given in your signed event agreement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Menlo Catering Events LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost business, arising out of your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Liability in connection with a catered event is addressed in your event agreement.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Menlo Catering Events LLC from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of this website or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

If part of these terms cannot be enforced

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remain in full force.
